Manasota
Manasota Key a beautiful strip of land divided from the mainland of Englewood and Venice by the superb intracoastal waterway know as Lemon Bay. Lemon Bay has direct access to the Gulf of Mexico via 'Stump Pass' 'Waterside' one of our properties in Englewood has a limited view of Lemon Bay mainly due to some of the vegetation which has grown next to the water, 'Reflections' also in Englewood has better views of Lemon Bay and 'San Marino' on Manasota Key has a private boat dock with access to the Bay. Most of the other properties we offer in Englewood and Venice are within a very short distance from Manasota Key and the opening bridge which allows Sailing Yachts to navigate the waterway on their way to and from the gulf.
In line with most beaches in this part of America, Manasota Beach is a world away from what you might expect in Europe. Lifeguards, Picnic Areas, Boardwalks, Ample Free Parking and above all space to enjoy the tranquility and beauty. No overpriced
ice cream kiosks ( there is one little wooden hut selling reasonably priced
cold drinks)
Just a lifeguard station, a place to park your bike or car, miles upon miles of river bank, shoreline, nature trails, the sun, the sea, dolphins, manatees, fish, sharks teeth and you, (well maybe a few other people) Don't believe us?. - The photos on this page were taken at 11-15 on a Saturday Morning in late June. The photo on the left is the main Manasota Key Road and the entrances on the right are to the car park.
